Homemade Beurre de mangue/ DIY Mango butter

English version at the bottom scrolled down

Merci Chris Tal pour l'idée. ;)

What you need

300ml of a natural oil of your choice. (I chose grapeseed oil)
3 ripe Mangoes
40 grams of Bees wax ( try texas natural supply)
30 drops of Mango scent ( try texas natural supply)
Essential oils ( optional)

What to do

  • Eat your mangoes the best part y'all.
  • Keep the seeds wash them and dry them up. Cut it in half (be careful don't go cutting yourself now lol)
  • Keep the nuts, blend them or cut them in small pieces. Put it in a sterile jar  with the oil( you can get them for a dollar at the dollar store).
  • Cook in a bain-marie for two hours without  boiling it. If you familiar with my videos you know I burn stuff even when its unburnable ahaha for once I got it right and didn't burn anything that's a victory y'all lool.
  • Filter it (coffee filter are good or use a sieve)
  • Add your bees wax and put it back in the bain-marie until the bees wax completely melts.
  • Once melted put it in the fridge to accelerate the process.
  • Once it starts to harden mix it and add your mango flavor ( the seed does not smell like mango) You can add essential oils to your liking.

Voila
